Field notes

Why this foundation exists

01

Transportation operations are connected, but their systems often are not.

Shipments, carriers, dispatch teams, routes, appointments, operational records, and external services all affect one another. Fragmented systems make that coordination harder to model and adapt.

02

Model the network as an extensible operational foundation.

Kaporeal brings transportation records and workflows into a modular architecture intended for logistics applications. It is a technical foundation, not a claim of a finished commercial logistics network.

System model

Architectural direction

01

Demand

Shipment requirements and appointments define what must move.

02

Plan

Routes, carriers, and constraints shape the movement plan.

03

Dispatch

Operational coordination moves the plan into execution.

04

Observe

Events and records preserve the state of transportation work.

05

Connect

Integrations and reporting extend the operational foundation.

Proposed transportation domain model; it does not represent a deployed logistics network.
